Short version: the site is free to use, events belong to their hosts, and we list and amplify in good faith. Here is the longer version.
NJ Climate Week is an independent community initiative. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection or the State of New Jersey. The site provides a statewide calendar of climate events, resource guides, and ways for organizations to host, partner, and sponsor. Using it means you accept these terms; if you do not, the exits are clearly marked.
Events listed on this site are organized and run by their hosts, not by NJ Climate Week. Hosts own their events end to end: registration, venues, permits, insurance, safety, and everything that happens on site. A listing here is publicity, not a partnership in the legal sense, and it is not an endorsement of a host’s unrelated activities. We review listings in good faith and remove ones that misrepresent themselves, but we cannot guarantee any event’s content, schedule, or conduct.
If you host, you agree to describe your event accurately, including its accessibility, and not to present NJ Climate Week as a state program or as the operator of your event.
The words, graphics, and brand assets on this site belong to NJ Climate Week or are used with their owners’ permission. You’re welcome to link to any page and to share event listings anywhere useful. Using the NJ Climate Week name or brand to imply endorsement, or in ways that suggest state affiliation, is not permitted. Resource links point to external organizations we do not control; their content and terms are their own.
The site is provided as is, free of charge, by a small volunteer team. We work to keep information accurate and current, and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out, but we make no warranties about completeness, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, NJ Climate Week and its organizers are not liable for damages arising from use of the site or attendance at listed events.
These terms may change as the initiative grows; the version on this page is the one in effect. Questions, corrections, and objections all go to the contact form. Like our privacy policy, this page is written to be read; if any of it is unclear, tell us and we’ll fix the wording.
