Dr. Mark DiMitroff of Stockton University's Geology Department will discuss evidence of past frozen-ground conditions in the Rancocas Creek watershed during its cold, nonglacial history. The presentation examines how winds from a nearby continental ice sheet, repeated freezing, and thawing shaped landforms still visible in Burlington County.
Admission is free for Rancocas Nature Center members and $10 for non-members. The organizer has not published a fixed end time.
