Ironbound Community Corporation is asking residents and community partners to attend the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission public board meeting and speak about barriers created by its current noon, weekday, in-person-only format. Ironbound reports that community participation fell sharply after PVSC moved meetings from online access to its wastewater treatment facility.
Community members may attend, offer public comment, and, if possible, livestream the meeting for people who cannot be in the room. People who cannot attend can ask Ironbound for a public comment template. RSVP through Ironbound's form and review its linked talking points before the meeting.
The meeting is held at an industrial facility. Event-specific information about step-free entry, parking, transit, security screening, interpretation, and other accommodations was not included in the organizer's outreach; contact PVSC or Ironbound before attending if you need support.
