A community cleanup along Newton Lake in Collingswood, with kayaks and canoes welcome but not required.
Cooper River Indivisible is organizing a two-hour litter cleanup along the banks of Newton Lake. Volunteers will meet at the boat launch across from Parkview Towers at White Horse Pike and North Newton Avenue.
Kayaks and canoes are encouraged but not required. Anyone going on the water must wear a life vest. The organizer will provide trash bags, grabbers, and gloves, and notes that a kayak rental kiosk is now available.
The cleanup includes shoreline work and optional paddling. The organizer does not publish route accessibility details; contact the organizer through Mobilize to discuss access needs.
