About this event

The New Jersey School of Conservation and The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will connect virtually for a workshop on how conservation psychology can strengthen community-based conservation. The morning Zoom presentation features James Danoff-Burg and covers behavior change, watershed protection, invasive species, and climate change.

Onsite participants will bring their own lunch, then join a guided hike led by Frank Gallagher from 1 to 3 PM. The hike uses the School of Conservation landscape to explore land use, restoration, reforestation, stewardship, and the relationship between people and place. Virtual and onsite registration options are available.
