Climate Procession & Ice Cream Social: Make Polluters Pay

GreenFaith's Climate Procession and Sweet Justice Ice Cream Social brings people together in Montclair to honor victims and survivors of climate disasters, lift up who and what we love, celebrate climate solutions, and make polluters pay. The program includes a roughly one-mile procession, dairy and vegan ice cream, a call to action, DJ music with optional dancing, and tabling with climate justice and community organizations.

• 10:00 AM — Gather at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 67 Church Street, Montclair (front lawn)
• 10:30 AM — Process along Bloomfield Avenue and South Fullerton Avenue, approximately one mile
• 11:30 AM–1:00 PM — Sweet Justice Ice Cream Social at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 73 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair (front lawn)

Organizer access notes: the route is approximately one mile, mostly on sidewalks with curb cuts and fairly level terrain. Activities take place outdoors on the front lawns of two churches; outdoor conditions, seating, restrooms, noise levels, and the procession route may affect access.
