Free, easy-paced two-mile Batsto Lake hike, with an optional three-mile hike after lunch. Rain cancels.
Join Sierra Club's South Jersey Group for an easy-paced two-mile walk on the Batsto Lake Blue Trail, followed by lunch at the picnic tables. After lunch, an optional moderately paced three-mile hike continues to Tom's Pond Trail. Leashed dogs are welcome.
Meet at 10 AM in the Batsto Village Visitors Center parking lot, 31 Batsto Road, Hammonton. Restroom facilities are available. Bring water, snacks and lunch, good footwear, and hiking poles if you use them. Any rain cancels. The organizer has not published an end time. RSVP and complete the organizer's waiver through Sierra Club.
The initial hike is two miles at an easy pace; the optional afternoon hike is three miles at a moderate pace. Restroom facilities are available. Contact the organizer about specific access needs.
