Washington Crossing State Park staff will lead a one-hour evening walk about New Jersey's bats, meeting at the Phillips Farm fields parking lot off Bear Tavern Road. The program explains how bats can consume more than 1,000 insects in a night and why they are important to local ecosystems.
The walk covers about one mile and is intended for all ages and experience levels. Registration is required and space is limited.
